the survey and acdemic writing

i will do survey , it is for more understand what problem happen when the festival holding,
i have set some questions in it:
I. How could they know this festival?
II. What problems they found in the festival, service quality, environment, production, food or management?
III. What are their different feelings between their fist time attending and second time attending? Which time is better and did they feel the creativity of organizer or lack of change in program?
IV. If this festival resume holding in the future, will they attend it again?
If no, what are the customers’ demands and how to encourage them to come?
i know my questions are not very good, so i have to make appointment with my supervisor for meeting, he will give me many useful advice...
oh..my...god.......just finish my proposal.........and still very confuse

interview

i have interview with an employee, who work for YI LAN local government
he said: 1. the TV news about this festival send to audience which was only 5 weeks before the holding time, it is too late to make people know the information, we should do more different marketing, we should make marketing plan and advertising on internet. It will attract different group of visitors. moreover, it is a new idea to make a souvenir such as Disney newspaper, it will make children bring it to school and tell his friends that he has attend this festival, it is kind of glory for children. It is as important as the internet marketing, otherwise we can not make The Yi LAN International Children’s Folklore and Folk game Festival resume holding.
so i will more focus on marketing strategy and public relationship

my new idea

the teacher said that my topic is not good
so i change my mind to the Yi LAN International Children’s Folklore and Folk game Festival
because it is no longer held, many people feel that is really pity to lose a culture meaningful, famous festival. i will try to find out what reason affect that happen and give some suggestion to organization

how to hlod a good event and what i learned in school

it is for my preparation of dissertation: Studying in MA Program of events management, I learned how to hold an event; I have to consider many aspects; which includes budget control, marketing, finance and etc. In class, there are many group case study, so I learned how to make meeting efficiently and share opinions, different vision could make different solutions for problems, It gathers more aspects of thinking, knowledge and skills, and the team will achieve easier when there are more resources for a difficult project in a limited time. In marketing, I compared different marketing method in different events, and do more research for which way is most efficiently, such as internet advertising could make people receive information faster, easier and save money for budget, but some people prefer marketing way of mouth to mouth, that they can feel warmer and it is the fastest way that employees could get respond when they introduce new production or service to customers, so it depends on different kind of event and purposed customers.

WHY I want to do this
Although Taiwan's cultural was affected depth by Japan, extends to the daily life and the management. For example, drama, movie, comic book, marketing, shop, baseball and even conscientious and careful attitude to education and enterprise. Baseball was introduced into Taiwan in the 19th and 20th centuries by newly arrived Japanese company employees.

What I want to do research
I want use culture to be the basic to do research about the national sport in Taiwan. How they hold international competition and events in Taiwan, and compare to Japan,
While soccer is the national sports of most countries in the world, baseball is the pride of Taiwan. Cultural differences makes different effect on sport. Culture could be described as the personality of society. Once the international baseball games held, Taiwanese could lay aside their works, even their family and lovers, just in order to cheer our pride in the field or at the television. For example, Mach 7, 2008 is a special day for Taiwan. It's not for the coming presidential election, but for 2008 IBAF Final Olympic Qualification Tournament (zh) the tournament is being played in Mid-Taiwan

I have a idea that maybe I will do research about a event company which locate in TAIWAN
i am interested in this kind of company,
they provide service to arrange the party which every business owner entertain all employees before chinese new year or arrange a festival for employee, for example, sports competitions.
I can learn how to make a budget, how to attract more people to join, what kind of marketing methods is efficiently and etc..........
all imformation about this company is useful for me to do my project.....
